The Armstrong Academy had second US Post Office in IndianTerritory by the same name from November 19th, 1850 to August 27th, 1869. Another post office know as the Armstrong Post Office was opened from April 26th, 1882 to October 30th, 1883. A third Post Office was opened on the sight from April 22nd, 1898 to March 15th, 1920, called the Academy Post Office.
